Our Story
Chiang Mai Wellness Clinic is a multidisciplinary healthcare centre located in the heart of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Since opening in June 2021, we have provided a wide range of services including aesthetic medicine, anti-aging and wellness treatments, travel medicine and vaccinations, weight management, and physiotherapy.
We also operate our affiliated clinic, PrEP by CWC Clinic, which specialises in HIV prevention and sexual health services. The clinic provides HIV PrEP, HIV PEP, comprehensive STI/STD testing, and treatment services for both Thai and international patients.
Our two clinics are conveniently located in adjacent buildings, allowing us to provide integrated healthcare services in one accessible location.

Background and Concept
Chiang Mai Wellness Clinic was founded by four physician-executives who identified the need for high-quality aesthetic services in Chiang Mai, delivered by skilled doctors using internationally standardized equipment at affordable prices. In addition, one of the founders is the only travel medicine specialist in Northern Thailand. While Chiang Mai is a popular destination for international tourists, the city previously lacked a clinic that fully meets the healthcare needs of global travelers.
The clinic’s strength in aesthetic services lies in its team of skilled physicians who specialize in facial features of both Asian and Western clients. With a balanced mix of Thai and international patients, the doctors are highly experienced in offering personalized aesthetic procedures for a variety of facial structures.
In addition to aesthetic treatments, the clinic provides comprehensive travel-related healthcare services. These include travel vaccinations, routine immunizations, and personalized travel consultations. Clients can conveniently receive both healthcare and beauty services in a single visit.
Besides their medical degrees (MD), our founders have completed advanced qualifications, including Master’s degrees, PhDs, and international fellowships from international institutions, which provide them with a deep understanding of the healthcare and aesthetic needs of international clients. Dr. Amornphat is a travel medicine specialist with a strong passion for travel health and disease prevention. He completed a research fellowship in HIV studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and earned a PhD in Community Medicine at Chiang Mai University.
As the lead physician for our Travel Medicine Clinic, he provides personalised travel health consultations, vaccination planning, and destination-specific disease prevention advice. All travel medicine consultations are conducted personally by Dr. Amornphat, ensuring that patients receive expert and individualised care.
Asst.Prof.Dr. Mathuramat Seesen, MD

Dr. Mathuramat is a family physician with a longstanding interest in health promotion, preventive medicine, and public health research. She completed a Master's degree in Epidemiology at Imperial College London and is currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Medicine Research (Public Health) at Imperial College London.
Through her experience as a researcher in New York and her studies in the United Kingdom, she has developed an understanding of both Western and Asian perspectives on health, wellness, and aesthetics. At Chiang Mai Wellness Clinic, she oversees clinic communications, service development, and the clinical standards of aesthetic services.
Asst.Prof.Dr. Kampanat Wangsan, MD

Dr. Kampanat is an occupational medicine physician and holds a PhD in Community Medicine from Chiang Mai University. He has a particular interest in occupational health, workplace wellbeing, and preventive healthcare.
He leads the development of our physiotherapy and rehabilitation services, ensuring that treatments are evidence-based and focused on improving long-term health and quality of life. Additionally, he oversees staff wellbeing initiatives within the clinic to ensure that our team remains healthy, supported, and able to provide the highest standard of care and the best possible experience for our clients.
Dr. Chanodom Piankusol, MD

Dr. Chanodom holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Policy from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree from George Washington University.
With a strong passion for health policy and healthcare systems, he oversees organisational development and international collaborations to ensure that Chiang Mai Wellness Clinic continues to deliver high-quality care that meets international standards.
